Kashi invites dialog with health-conscious fans by sharing its employees' inspiring "change" stories online, which are filled with personal wellness goals, barriers and motivations. In turn, site visitors are encouraged to make and share a change in their own lives that others can view, tag and search by geography and recency. Once the dialogue has been initiated with a simple sign-up page, Kashi poses three simple survey questions to determine its influencers. They offer coupons to those who engage on the site and share more personal information, and invite some users to join testing panels. Kashi also extends its warm, welcoming tone in the "contact us" section of its site by featuring customer service representatives' photos and using inviting explanatory copy.
